Super New Moon Solar Eclipse Tarotscopes

New Moon Solar eclipse 12/14/20

Super New Moon in Sagittarius 8:16am PST / Solar eclipse 8:14am PST / Moon moves into Capricorn 7:36pm PST

Cards for the Collective

Wow! Hello fellow spoonies and stargazers! It’s been a long time since I’ve written out full tarotscopes for you. What a year it’s been—I don’t think I need to go into what a rough and intense time we’ve all been through. Now we find ourselves at the end of eclipse season as we head into this final new moon and eclipse of the year. The new moon and solar eclipse in Sagittarius bring a powerful new beginning and shift in energies for us all. Soon after the new moon, Saturn will move into the airy sign of Aquarius (Dec 16th at 9:03pm PST), and Jupiter will also move into Aquarius (Dec 19th at 5:06am PST). Saturn and Jupiter have been kind of chasing each other all year in the sign of Capricorn, and just as they shift into Aquarius they will form a conjunction on winter solstice (December 21st). Jupiter and Saturn make this grand conjunction approximately every 20 years, but this will be the closest Saturn and Jupiter have been to each other in almost 400 years, and the first time the conjunction has happened in an air sign in 200 years. Most astrologers (myself included) feel that this Aquarius conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter is a big push further into the Age of Aquarius, so this is a really major shift we are about to live through. I’m sure many of you have already been feeling it coming.

The cards I pulled for the collective for this new moon, eclipse, and wild solstice are interesting. The 5 of Pentacles comes in when we are experiencing challenges, turmoil, and change in the earthy realm of home, health, work, and finances. This makes a lot of sense for most of us—this next few months, with the pandemic still raging, even with this beautiful new energy coming in will have its challenges. As we face a winter of trying to stay healthy, juggle finances and resources during a time when many of us are out of work, or unable to work full-time, we have to look towards what we do have and try to find the light as we get through these challenging weeks.

The astrology card I pulled for this time is “Uranus – Genius,” which is really interesting as Uranus tends to shake things up, often with a sudden jolt. “As the higher octave of Mercury, Uranus arrives to break the rules and smash established structures. It is the planet of not only genius, but also intuition which arrives in sudden flashes, just like lightning, seemingly out of nowhere. Uranus is the revolutionarey planet, opening up channels to the higher mind and bringing about necessary changes which can no longer be resisted.” —Susan Sheppard With Uranus currently in the grounded sign of Taurus, we can actually put all of these innovations and visions to practical use, make them concrete in this world.

I also pulled the Sacred Rebels oracle card “Diving for Light,” a beautiful card as we head into the longest and darkest nights of winter before solstice. “The oracle of Diving for Light speaks of a time when you are called into darkness through life circumstances, situations, relationship challenges, or inner struggles that defy clear understanding. That darkness might be a creative block, a sense of being in a void or feelings of depression, rage, sadness, fear, or anxiety…When diving for light, one must be willing to bear the darkness and understand it has a purpose, much like winter does upon earth. It is not in error or through lack of consciousness that you are here now. It is testament to your spiritual growth and creative process, not a sign that they are lacking or stalling.” —Alana Fairchild

As one of my good friends and I say to each other during difficult times, keep holding on. We will get to the light, and we will get to lighter and easier times. We are not alone as we find our way through the darkness.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising (Nov 2 – Dec 21): This new moon and total solar eclipse travel through your first house of self, outer personality, and beginnings. This is a powerful new beginning, especially if there are ways in which you have been feeling called to reinvent yourself (even your appearance). The 3 of Cups comes in when it’s time to celebrate, and often comes up when you are beginning to see the benefits or payoff of what you’ve been working on—in this case, especially the ways in which you’ve been working on yourself. This is a card of coming together with loved ones, so while we might not be able to gather in person, it’s a good time to connect in other ways (phone, video chat, etc).

Interestingly, the “Air Element – Communicating” astrology card comes in, just as Jupiter and Saturn get ready to move into the air sign, Aquarius. Aquarius lights up your 3rd house of communication (especially if you are Sagittarius Rising), so with both Saturn and Jupiter soon moving into these houses you are also entering a new beginning in how you get your messages across, and your thought processes: “..it is time to put into words what you want, what you desire, and what you expect. The good news is, some issues you’ve been working on at the current time, and possible from the past, are now being resolved. You are able to face them without pretense, but most importantly with honesty.” —Susan Sheppard

The “Big Bold Vision” card comes in when you are beginning to break out of old thought patterns, and new ideas and bigger visions can begin to crystallize. Your curiosity and sense of wonder are ignited with this energy shift, and while there might be turbulence and surprises along the way, the message here is to try to remain open to the process. Have faith in your intuition and your heart, and take time as you make decisions. The following is your healing process from the Sacred Rebels guidebook:Say, ‘I release all blocks to my vision. I release all beliefs—conscious or unconscious—stored in my body or mind that would have me belittle or minimise myself out of fear or ignorance. I choose to be bold, big and bright, to vision with my heart and receive all the genius of the universe in supporting that vision in coming to life. So be it.” (Repeat again whenever you feel yourself in awe of what seems to be coming through you as a vision for the future! —Alana Fairchild

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising (Dec 22 – Jan 19): This new moon and solar eclipse light up your 12th house of things beyond the physical world, the unconscious, and endings. The 10 of Pentacles comes in to indicate that you’re approaching the completion of a cycle in the earthy realm—health, career, home, and finances. Often the tens come to us when we have reached some kind of lasting security in this area of life. This card also comes about when a project or something you’ve been working towards reaches completion, and often new opportunities can come up during this shift.

The “Pisces – I Believe” astrology card comes up as Neptune in Pisces lights up your 3rd house of communication, thought processes, writing, and short trips. During this big shift (and it is a big one, between eclipse season coming to a close, Saturn and Jupiter moving soon into Aquarius, and winter solstice approaching) you can find yourself feeling more connected to your intuition and the universe. This is also a time where earthly things can be a little murky, especially when it comes to your communications with others. Some advice from the Black Moon Astrology deck: “Take advantage of inspiration and channel it into a creative project. If you have a notion or a dream, swim to it. Capture that wave. A great idea from the past may reemerge, and you may want to return and finish it, but you will want to tackle this idea soon when you are inspired or the entire matter could disappear into the rushes of the deep…You may be confused by the reactions of others or simply unable to get the correct answer. Pisces can be like a pristine sea or the muck of a swamp, so getting lost is a danger. Make sure you’re not being pulled under by other people’s complications…Make sure you are protected and have the proper boundaries.”—Susan Sheppard

The Sacred Rebels card “The Perfection of Your Life” comes during times of great shifts. The card portrays this beautiful storm above, though from down on the ground it can look chaotic and intense. You are in the part of your process where it might feel as though there is a storm within, or something inside is getting ready to boil over—this can even show up in the form of a person or situation in your life that seems to be bringing uncertainty or chaos. This card comes with the message that while things may feel chaotic right now, this is part of your natural process, and is clearing things out and preparing you for a fresh new beginning when the storm has passed. The following is your healing process from the Sacred Rebels guidebook:

Imagine that you are standing at the silent centre of a great cleansing storm. All aspects of your life are rained upon, blown about and even messed up a little. How do you feel? The storm then passes and you are left with soft sunshine and slightly soggy feet! Some parts of your life will have been washed away. Some others will be strong and stable, a bit messy perhaps, but still there nonetheless. How do you feel? Underneath your feet you see a pattern forming in the cleansed earth, as if it is rising up from the damp, slightly disturbed soil. Sense the perfection of the form, see how each flower feeds into the next, in symmetry, harmony, and balance. Finish this practice by saying, ‘I give thanks for the higher order of my life, which I trust implicitly, as it guides me into wholeness and love. From that which appears as chaos, new order is rising. I trust this and receive the gift of higher order in my life now. Through grace and mercy, so be it.’ Relax for a moment, become aware of your feet and in your own time, go back to your day or evening…—Alana Fairchild

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising (Jan 20 – Feb 18): This super new moon and solar eclipse move through your 11th house of goals, objectives, visions for the future, and how you operate in groups (friends and various associations). During this time of big energy shifts, you can find yourself reevaluating your long term goals, as well as the groups you are a part of. Are your goals and the groups you’re a part of still in alignment with who you are in the present? You might even revisit older dreams, as they might offer some guidance now. Saturn and Jupiter will soon be moving into Aquarius, lighting up your 1st house of self and outer personality. This ties in with your 11th house rather neatly, as you enter a new beginning where you can reinvent yourself in ways you have been wanting to for quite some time. The Messenger (Hierophant in traditional decks) comes in to bring cosmic knowledge down to earth. Now could be a good time to tap into wisdom from the past, as well as turning to some rituals to connect you further with spiritual knowledge. This card is often seen as a “mentor” card, so you could find good guidance from a teacher or elder at this time.

It’s no surprise that the astrology card I pulled for you is “Eleventh House – Friends.” The 11th house is more than just the house of friendships, but also about the collective and how we come together to bring about greater change. This card comes in as a reminder that you are not alone on the planet (even if it often feels this way, especially for those with strong Aquarius placements in their charts), and this is a shift that brings a good time to share ideas and energy with others. “…the focus is on friends, what groups you belong to, and who you associate with. To achieve your objectives, pooling your resources with those of others may be necessary. There will be changes in your friendships and associations or possibly, you may be able to achieve an important goal or desire based upon who you know. It represents a collective creativity…Even though it’s a fortuitous time to join a class, a club, a society, or a group, it is also important that you be a standout. Others will support your individuality…” —Susan Sheppard.

It’s possible with this eclipse and new moon bringing a big energy shift to your 11th house that some of the friends or groups you are associated with will need to be left behind. The Sacred Rebels card “Releasing Allegiances” comes in when there is a connection that it’s time to let go of—as we are all completing several cycles this season (Jupiter and Saturn completing their time in Capricorn, the last of the eclipse cycles for 2020, and winter solstice bringing a shift as more light comes in), it’s inevitable that we must release whatever is no longer on our new frequency. While this shift is certainly lighting up your house of groups, associations, and friendships, there could be a short period now where you need some solitude (as Fairchild says, “trust that you can step into solitude for a time without being consumed by loneliness)…as you are reevaluating your goals for the future and the experience you want with the collective and your friend groups, you need some time to connect with your inner self. There is a message from this card that a situation can come up where you need to be wary of being manipulated by others into backing down…stick up for yourself and your inner knowing. The following is the healing process from the Sacred Rebel guidebook: Lie down somewhere comfortable and relax. Say, ‘I love my body and my body loves me. I trust my body and my body trusts me. I love wisdom and wisdom loves me. I trust wisdom and wisdom trusts me.’ Sense, visualise, feel or intend that there be a beautiful emerald green light with golden sparkling flecks of energy in it. It rises up from the earth below you and bathes your body until you are floating in an ocean of emerald green light with golden sparkling flecks of energy within it. Let it fizz and wash around you and through you, right into the cells of your being. Finally let it form a bubble of light around you, encasing you like an egg or shell, from the top of your head, all the way down to the bottom of your feet, on either side of you, front and back. Let it be close enough that it feels protective, and spacious enough that you can breathe easily. Take your time, and when you are ready simply open your eyes and you have completed your healing process. —Alana Fairchild

Pisces & Pisces Rising

Pisces & Pisces Rising (Feb 19 – Mar 20): This new moon and solar eclipse light up your 10th house of public life, career issues, and how you cope with authority. There can be a shift in your career focus now, and you could find yourself reviewing and changing course with how you feel you fit in with society. This has been a particularly strange year, as we are learning out of necessity new ways to interact with the public and socialize. The Knight of Swords swoops into your reading with the message that swift and decisive action may be necessary soon—you might not have as much time as you’d like to mull over all of your options. With this knight information comes in swiftly and changes can be abrupt. With all of the shifting energy between the eclipse, new moon, and winter solstice approaching, finding quiet moments to process and think things through will be a challenge, but helpful.

I pulled the “Tenth House – The World” astrology card for you—very fitting as this moon moves through your 10th house! This card brings the message that with this new beginning you could tap into some fresh ambition, and step into more confidence. You can begin to look at the bigger picture with more clarity now, and some of the fog surrounding this past year begins to lift—illusions fall away. From the Black Moon Astrology book: “…this is the primary card of fame and infamy, your legacy, and what you will become known for. It is the house of success and failure. And this card will tell of what will likely come about…Truth and honesty will decide this matter. The universe is supporting you now.” –Susan Sheppard. Don’t be surprised if this season of energy shifts finds you taking on new responsibilities and a change in how you interact with the people in power in your public life/career life.

From the Sacred Rebels oracle, the “Restore and Replenish” card comes with a message that in this time of transition and fluctuation, you need more than just physical rest—you need restoration…the kind that comes from breaking your regular patterns and trying something new. This is a good time to step out of your comfort zone for a little while, bringing yourself to life by bringing new energy into your body and surroundings. Take some time during the days surrounding this new moon to put down some of the things you’ve been working on, step out of your thoughts and into your physical body—try to move your body in new ways (if you have limited mobility, this is more about bringing fresh energy into the body, and there are many ways to do that, including meditation and various energy practices like qigong). A big transition is on the horizon, so if you’re feeling a bit in limbo at the moment, rest assured that change is coming. If you’ve been working on yourself in various ways, you’re going to see the benefits soon. The following is your Healing Process from the Sacred Rebels guidebook: Imagine that you are floating in an ocean that has colours of turquoise to deep breen and darkest, deepest blue. Notice what colours feel good. Enter and remain in that space for as long as you like. The water might be warm and sparkling, shallow and heated by the sun, or cool, deep and mysterious. Allow it to be whatever feels good to you. When you are ready, open your eyes and break that routine of yours! You will have completed your healing process.—Alana Fairchild

Aries & Aries Rising

Aries & Aries Rising (Mar 21 – Apr 19): This super new moon and solar eclipse in Sagittarius travel through your 9th house of philosophy, higher learning, spirituality, and travel/exploration. As you move through the energy shift that this eclipse, new moon, and Jupiter & Saturn moving into Aquarius bring, take time to review how your philosophy on life has changed over the past year. How have you grown, what perspectives have changed? Are some of your views on life and your own spiritual journey no longer in alignment with how you’ve evolved this year? The Two of Wands often finds us faced with some kind of choice, and it’s time to tap into your intuition and inner knowing in order to decide which path to choose. Sometimes this card indicates the possibility of a new project or partnership, and alternatives need to be weighed out. With the 2 of Wands, a change is definitely on the winds as you reach this crossroads and step onto a new path.

The astrology card I pulled for you is “Eighth House – Endings/Beginnings,” and often represents (much like this period before winter solstice) the darkness before the dawn—you are on verge of a new beginning, but it can still feel difficult and unclear right now. The 8th house brings about transformation, Scorpio energy (which is Aries’ 8th house sign, especially Aries Rising) of diving deep to face our fears so that we can change in the ways we need to move forward. It is interesting that this card comes up for you while your 9th house is so active—what old ways of thinking are you releasing and letting “die,” and what new growth and learning do you want to let in? From the Black Moon Astrology book: “You may experience penetrating insights. Or you may go through a time of renewal, a time where you are given a second chance. Your life is made over and you become a builder. Darkness comes and a tower falls, but there is a better one to replace it.” —Susan Sheppard    From the Sacred Rebels oracle I pulled the “Conscious Connections” card for you. This card comes with the message that this is a healing time for your relationships and friendships—opening up your heart to honest communication can help heal relationships that are suffering. This is also a time where it is okay to let go of anyone in your life who cannot accept you for who and how you are right now. You are able now to connect more deeply with those who do connect with you and “get” you. The message here is also to stay open to “healing connections;” it’s okay to be vulnerable and let people in. The following is your healing process from the Sacred Rebels guidebook: With your hand on your heart, say out loud, ‘I surrender all my relationships into unconditional love and ask that the truly nourishing, soul enriching, expansive and nurturing relationships be healed and drawn closer to my heart. I ask that the draining, depleting, destructive or toxic relationships be drawn out of my life. Through unconditional love, mercy, grace and my own free will, so be it.’ Imagine that you can breathe golden light in through the front of your body and out through the back of your body. Repeat the process with a rich emerald green light. Don’t worry if you can’t feel or see the light, just intend to work with the light and relax. Finally visualize, perceive, or see a beautiful, beating heart with luminous green and gold parrot wings on either side of it. Imagine, perceive or feel that there are many other beautiful beating hearts with parrot wings of different colours and they are all flying around together. Enjoy the playfulness of this vision, and in your own time, come back to the here and now. Feel the air on your skin, notice the temperature of the room you are in and your feet on the floor. When you are ready open your eyes and return to your day or evening…”—Alana Fairchild

Taurus & Taurus Rising

Taurus & Taurus Rising (Apr 20 – May 20): This super new moon and solar eclipse in Sagittarius ignite your 8th house of transformation, death and rebirth, sexuality, and shared resources & finances/other people’s money. Venus in Scorpio is also traveling through your 8th house, so there is a transformative energy surrounding how you receive, what you place value on, what you find beautiful, your finances, and especially your relationships. This can be a bit of an uncomfortable time as Scorpio energy helps you delve deeply into these topics, and face any fears you have in these areas of life. The Teacher (Emperor in traditional decks) energy helps you take a pragmatic view on any 8th house challenges you’re facing. You have achieved and learned a lot, perhaps more than you give yourself credit for, and stepping into this Emperor/Teacher energy can help you take charge. Get ready to dive into the changes you know need to be made, and channel that Teacher energy of being able to act quickly and adjust to changes when you need to.

Your astrology card for this new moon and solar eclipse is “Lunar Eclipse – Change.” The past two weeks we have been processing that last lunar eclipse in Gemini (November 30th), and this solar eclipse (December 14th) will wrap up this eclipse season. Things have felt a bit wobbly as we’ve been in between eclipses, but the changes they shake up are usually necessary and helpful in the long run. “When the Lunar Eclipse card presents itself in a reading, dramatic changes are in store. Such changes will likely be unexpected ones, the kind that might seem hard or will take some special effort on your part. These will not be gradual, easy, barely noticed transformations; your world may be rattled somewhat. It will seem more like a revolution. Do not be alarmed, however, because this altering of your life is essential in getting you where you need to be…Lunar eclipses herald times of a new way of looking at things…This card also indicates cycles, and whatever seems lost at this time, you can be assured will return to you, perhaps in a different form, but most certainly better.” —Susan Sheppard It’s likely that the past lunar eclipse really shook things up, and you’ve been undergoing some big life changes. This new moon and solar eclipse mark the new beginning, fully stepping into all of these changes.

I pulled “Inspiration” for you from the Sacred Rebels oracle. Through all of this change, it’s likely that a new idea or vision will come to you, and part of the message of this card is that “it IS possible,” and support will come to you if you want to bring this vision into being. There is also the message that it is time to approach things differently—the way you take action and your thought processes are meant to change now, and these changes free up space for you to let creative inspiration flow. The following is your healing process from the Sacred Rebels guidebook: Place your hands in prayer position at your heart or lay them in your lap with palms facing upwards in a gesture of receiving. Say aloud, ‘May my inspired idea be blessed by the creative intelligence and love of this universe. May the perfection of divine timing govern the unfolding of this idea into its most beautiful and fulfilling form. May this idea attract the most nourishing people, situations and opportunities so that it may live out its destiny to make a positive contribution to the world. Through sacred genius, love and grace, so be it.’ When you are ready, sit quietly and say, ‘I commit myself—body, heart, mind and soul—to that which will illuminate me with golden inspiration and uplift me and those around me with love. I am open to receive all the support and protection needed to truly honour this commitment. So be it.” Rest for a moment to complete your healing process. If you notice imagery of bees, actual bees or people dressed like them (stranger things have happened!) when you are out and about, know that this is the universe playfully confirming your healing through this oracle. —Alana Fairchild

Gemini & Gemini Rising

Gemini & Gemini Rising (May 21 – Jun 20): This super new moon and solar eclipse in Sagittarius travel through your 7th house of partnerships, relationships of all kinds, and marriage. This is a big opportunity for a new beginning in how you fit into the world of others, how you view and act within your relationships. As you move through these next few weeks, think about how you would like to improve your relationships. You could be reevaluating your thoughts on close relationships and partnerships—how do you view intimacy between yourself and others, and how are those views changing with all you’ve learned this past year? The Magician card comes in to remind you that you have all of the tools you need to build the kinds of relationships you want. This card can also indicate a time where things are being revealed, and you’re able to see not only how to create what you want, but also the inner workings that have been feeling mysterious or hidden. This is a wonderful card to pull as you enter a big new beginning (not only are we going through the new moon and solar eclipse, but soon Saturn and Jupiter will shift into Aquarius and form a powerful conjunction, and winter solstice brings us a shift of season and more light coming in), the Magician bringing the energy of determination and spark to make some wonderful changes happen.

I pulled the “Sixth House – Routine” astrology card for you—it’s time to step out of your usual routine and shake things up a bit. The 6th house is the house of health, daily life and routines, and work and responsibilities. This card comes when it’s time to take care of any health issues, especially medical appointments you’ve been putting off (though I recognize that currently it’s best to put off in-person appointments unless they are urgent and can’t be delayed)—and possibly look at new perspectives on a health issue. “It is time to pay attention to the small particulars, rather than the larger picture. The larger picture cannot develop without the minute details. You may find yourself worrying over little matters, which is exhausting…It’s important to be analytical in your endeavors or they may come unraveled and not turn out in the ideal way you want. Perfection is not necessary to success. Completing what you start is more important…This is probably not an easy time because it is not meant to be. For something to really serve you in the best way possible (with the outcome you are wanting) you will have to go step by step, and have patience. It is not likely to happen fast. But whatever you manage to accomplish will stick and serve you well in the future.”—Susan Sheppard With this card coming up as the new moon lights up your 7th house, it’s a good time to look at the routines in your relationships—could those patterns use some shaking up?     The Sacred Rebels oracle card I picked for you is “Every Journey Starts with a Single Step.” This card comes with the message that even the tiniest steps you are taking now are adding up and contributing in a meaningful way to your overall journey. Even if it feels like nothing major is changing right now, you are making headway that might not be immediately visible. If you’re feeling frustrated with the slow progress of all the work you’ve been doing (especially inner work), this card asks you to “keep faith,” the results and benefits are on their way. The following is the healing process for this card from the Sacred Rebels guidebook: Say aloud, ‘Of my own free will, I now choose to surrender any fear or doubt about my ability to succeed. I believe in myself. I trust myself. I have faith in the unfolding journeys of my life, both internally and out in the world. Even in the face of the unknown, I know that positive energy surrounds me and I am protected. Through unconditional love, I am supported and assisted to take each step, as needs be, so that my great, creative, life journey can be all that it can be.’ You may like to complete your healing process with a quick dance around the lounge room, feeling joy in your heart and lightness in your step. —Alana Fairchild

Cancer & Cancer Rising

Cancer & Cancer Rising (Jun 21 – Jul 22): This super new moon and solar eclipse in Sagittarius light up your 6th house of health, work, and daily life and routines. This sparks a big new beginning for you in this area of your life, and it’s a good time to think about what daily patterns could use this shift. Work opportunities and changes in jobs can come up with this transition. If you’ve been struggling with a health issue or working on your health in general, this new moon and eclipse can bring the shift you’ve been needing. You might even be inspired to look at different methods of healing, or find alternative solutions. The 2 of Pentacles comes into your reading bringing the energy of change—you are at a crossroads of sorts in the 6th house realm, and a decision of which path to take could arise. With the pentacles, this decision and change is generally relating to your health, work, finances, or home—it’s going to be important to find some balance as things around you are fluctuating. With the 2 of Pentacles, things are often about to change for the better. As with many big life changes, it can feel like there is a lot happening at once, so staying grounded and taking time to plan will be helpful now.

I pulled the “Neptune – Sacrifice” astrology card for you. Neptune is currently hanging out in Pisces and moving through your 9th house of philosophy, higher learning, spirituality, and exploration. As this eclipse season wraps up with the solar eclipse in Sagittarius, the dreamy and intuitive energy of neptune swims through your philosophies on life and your connection to the cosmos. This can be a time where it feels a little foggy—clarity and getting to the heart of matters can be difficult as we go through these big energy shifts, but it is a beautiful opportunity to gain some insights on your dreams and explore your life philosophy more freely and creatively. “Neptune is a place of beauty and that which is ethereal and not so easily reached. Neptune is inspired visions coupled with nebulous thinking. Neptune represents glamour…and connected to the word ‘grammar’ meaning to create magick or to cast a spell. This card indicates poetry, music, art, and psychic mediumship, but also nebulous thinking…With the Neptune card, it will be difficult to get to the bottom of the issue. You may see smoke in mirrors, find yourself engulfed in nefarious mists with blame cast on the wrong person or reason. With this card you want to be absolutely clear and out front with everything. Neptune is the planet of sacrifice, so you may be asked to sacrifice something—usually related to ego—for some greater good.”—Susan Sheppard. Neptune can also bring a really beautiful energy where you can explore you dreams and really tap into your intuition, just be aware that not everything is as it seems during this transition. “Bring it into Form” is the Sacred Rebels oracle card I pulled for you. As Neptune in Pisces lights up your dreams, this card brings the message that it’s time to bring some of those dreams into solid form here on Earth. What inspiration have all of these changes over the year sparked in you? Whether it’s a book you want to write, art you want to create, a song—do it! Don’t waste time worrying about perfection or how you will go about completing it, just take those first steps and begin to do it! This card asks you to recognise that while often the inspiration or idea is limited in physical form, there is a lot more to be gained from doing it. The following is the healing process for this card in the Sacred Rebels guidebook: Relax and follow your breathing as it flows in and out. In your own time, imagine, sense or perceive that there is a beautiful light sparkling, twinkling, like a shining star. This light is within the centre of your heart. What colour does it feel like? What energy does it have? What feeling or emotion? Notice the star and let yourself feel it. If you are a more visual person, you may see colours or shapes. If you are more auditory, you may sense sound—words, pulsations, humming. That star of light shines, burns and expands. It brings tingling energy into each of your fingers, all the way from your heart, down your arms, into the palms of the hands and radiating out through each fingertip. You can imagine rays of light, like rays of sunshine, emanating out of each finger. The process then continues from your heart, all the way down through your body and through each leg, until the soles of your feet are filled with light, and it extends like rays out through the tip of each toe, fanning out like rays of sunshine. When you feel that light has reached through your extremities, say the following: ‘I am energised and empowered to bring my ideas to life. I release any fear that they won’t live up to the perfection of my ideas or fantasies. I give them permission to become what they want to be, in service to life. In releasing these ideas into form, I open up to receive new ideas and inspirations. I am helped with this process through unconditional love, for the greater good. So be it.’ You have completed your healing process. —Alana Fairchild

Leo & Leo Rising

Leo & Leo Rising (Jul 23 – Aug 22): This super new moon and solar eclipse in Sagittarius falls in your 5th house of creativity, self-expression, romance, and affection. What shifts have you been feeling in how you want to express yourself, how and what you want to create, and how you want to feel romantically? The fifth house is also about fun, so it’s a good time to find time to let loose and have some fun. It can denote a carnival-like atmosphere where life becomes a three-ring circus, but usually in the best way possible…This is the card of mastery and victory, in a deep way, such as that which you already carry inside your heart. All is possible now.     I pulled the “Mercury – Mind” astrology card for you—fitting, as this is your ruling planet. Mercury is the planet of communication, thought processes, and intelligence. It is the fastest moving planet, as its orbit is closest to the sun. In the physical body Mercury rules the brain, nervous system, eyes, and fingers and toes, so take extra care of these parts of the body during this energy shift. “When the Mercury card presents itself in a reading, it is time to use all of your mental faculties to get your point across. Words, and how you use them, are very significant. It may mark a period where you either have to talk your way out of something or talk your way into something. Whatever the reason or occurrence, how you communicate, through writing or speaking, is of utmost importance here…It is not a time to stay static or to sit still…Now marks a period which involves observation, reasoning, taking things apart and putting them back together as they were or in your own order. It is a time of flighty emotions and matters developing quickly.” Relating this back to your 4th house, things can move and change fast in this area of life. Take some time to get clear on what you want to communicate to family (including chosen family), and what changes you want to bring about in your home life.

I pulled the “Come to Life” Sacred Rebels oracle card for you this new moon. With this new beginning, especially if you feel you’ve been in a holding pattern or been spiritually sleepy, there is an opportunity to come alive again—to truly feel things, open up in new ways, and integrate all that you’ve learned the past year into a new way of being. “Don’t imagine you can go back to sleep. You are too awake for that now. There is no falling back into old ways…” There may be some grief that accompanies this awakened state, as you realize you cannot return to the way things were. That’s okay—let yourself feel all the feels, the grief will pass. The following is your healing process for this card from the Sacred Rebels guidebook: Lie quietly and play some beautiful music that you love. Allow it to move through your body, as though the sound is pure energy and you are as light as air. Let the sound feel good. Let your cells receive the sound energy. Feel the music rattle about in your body, as if the sound waves are making your cells vibrate—they are! Let there be life. Get up and move if you wish. If you have emotion arising, be with it but don’t hold on to it. Let it rise and fall as it will. Be in this process as long as feels right for you. Feeling you have had enough indicates that you have completed the healing process for this oracle. You may wish to repeat this exercise daily for several weeks, if so, choose music that feels right for you each time. You can then see the difference this healing process has on your wellbeing, your energy levels and the ease in which you access your intuition and feelings. Also note the clarity in what you perceive. You might be surprised at what a little music therapy, consciously received, can do for you.—Alana Fairchild

Imagine a golden arc of light being created by the gently moving head of the sunflower. That arc of light flips upside down, to become a vessel filled with golden energy that drops down like a rainfall of energy, from the golden orb of the sun. Imagine you can bathe in the vessel of golden energy. It feels good. Stay with that good feeling and let it settle in your heart. In your own time, just open your eyes. You have completed your healing process. —Alana Fairchild

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising (Oct 23 – Nov 21): This super new moon and solar eclipse in Sagittarius travels through your 2nd house of your desires and values, material possessions and resources, and finances. As you experience this energy shift and enter a new beginning in this area of life, it’s a good time to think about what makes you feel secure, your relationship with your physical possessions/resources, and what you truly find value in and want in life.    I pulled the “Third House – Messages” astrology card for you. The third house is all about how we think, how we communicate our thoughts to others and put words to our ideas, and how we seek information and search for answers. “You are in search of answers and in need of unlocking mysteries, but your mind is agile and you are able to grasp every detail right now. You may wish to express this mental suppleness through writing, speaking, and researching subject matter which has always intrigued you…You may suddenly wake up with an idea that could turn out to be very lucrative. You may even be toying with the idea of writing a book, starting a blog, perhaps a screenplay, or a position at a local news media outlet. There couldn’t be a better time than now.” —Susan Sheppard Beyond writing and communicating your ideas, the third house is also about diving into your curiosity, really figuring out how things work. If there are mysteries that have been lurking in your mind, this is a great time to investigate more deeply.     The Sacred Rebels oracle card I pulled for you is “In the World, Not of the World.” This card is fitting as your 2nd house is activated with this new moon and solar eclipse, as the message is about letting go of “conditioned beliefs about money, time, securiting, having, locking away, holding and controlling.” The 2nd house is all about what makes you feel secure, and how you feel about your finances and physical resources, and this card comes in to let you know that it’s okay to let some of those beliefs fall away. Perhaps those beliefs served you well during challenging (or even traumatic) times, but you have outgrown them in some ways now. As you move through this shift, think about how you can loosen your grip on some of these beliefs. “…You are being stripped of internal beliefs that are failing you, perhaps externally as well. Whether this seems to be your choice or not, make no mistake, it is your own spirit in cahoots with the loving spirit of life that has brought this situation about.”—Alana Fairchild. The following is your healing process for this card from the Sacred Rebels guidebook: Imagine you are running naked into a sea, ocean, river, or waterfall. Be cleansed. Feel it happening. Be with it and enjoy the sensation of it. Feel freed of any weight that you no longer need, be it physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Let go on all levels. When you are ready, just open your eyes and rest for a few moments before going back into your day or evening. You have completed your healing process.—Alana Fairchild
